First, can you remove the power from the printer and wait 10 minutes.

This will clear the temporary memory and can clear the error.

After 10 minutes, plug in the power again and tell me please if you still get the error.

Can you do the following please

Power off the printer

Select Start > Devices and Printer.
Right-click your printer and select Properties.
Select the Ports tab.
Clear the check box next to Enable bidirectional support, then click Apply.
Click OK.

Then click start
Type services.msc, then click OK.
Right-click Print Spooler in the list, then select Restart.
Turn on the printer.

Try to print and let me know the results please.

You need to either Check or Un check the Bi Directional box please Ernest, as per my instructions.

So if it is checked, then uncheck it and vica versa.

Can you right click on the printer in Devices and Printers and select Remove.

Once done, restart the computer.

Then install the printer again and tell me please if it now prints.

at the end of a tedious day I regret that there is no difference in the situation I can not get any communication between pc and printer


The printer still says faultNNN-NN-NNNNstill exists and will not accept print instructions


To me that is vital for I need to communicate daily with U.S.A


Is there any other approach? i would appreciate a reply otherwise

Sorry Ernest,

It is the internal mainboard that has faulted in the printer.

A corrupted firmware can cause this. But we have ruled this out.

We have also ruled out software and the computer as causing this.

I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the printer so they can replace this. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the repair will be done at no cost to you.

I am really sorry about this, and if you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
