Hello! I am IT Miro and I will assist you on this question.

Are you referring to the iPod Touch password used to lock the device or an e-mail password?

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

cannot connect to to my router to access the internet

Expert:  IT Miro replied 2 years ago.
So, you are having problems with the WiFi password?

If so, can you connect any other device such as computer or phone to the same router (WiFi network)?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

no i cannot

Expert:  IT Miro replied 2 years ago.
OK.

Please let me know the make and model of your wireless router and I will provide the instructions on how to change or disable the WiFi password.

In that case, to better and faster help you with this issue, I would like to start remote desktop assistance to your computer so that I can do all the changes for you, while you are watching.

Would you like me to do that?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

i certainly would jeff

Expert:  IT Miro replied 2 years ago.

OK, good.

In order for me to connect, you need to download a remote desktop connection program to your computer and start it.

We can use TeamViewer to securely establish remote desktop connection and exchange information. You will be able to see everything I am doing on your computer and you can terminate the remote connection any time.

Please click on the link below to download TeamViewer QuickSupport program:

Once you have downloaded it, start it and permit the connection if asked by Windows or your firewall program. When started, the blue TeamViewer window will show you access numbers – Your ID and Password.

Send that information to me here so that I can securely connect to your computer. You can then minimize the TeamViewer window (do not exit it).

Thanks,

IT Miro

if it is safe i would to restore or reset my password on my ipod touch with less bother than last time
Expert:  IT Miro replied 2 years ago.
Jeff,

I have explained what needed to be done when I used remote desktop connection to your computer. Since you could not connect your iPod to the wireless network, I suggested removing the password for your wireless network. You agreed and I noted that you would need to re-connect to your wireless network after I removed the password. I wrote the detailed instructions in the Notepad for you.

It seems you haven't followed those instructions at all.

Is your wireless network password protected at the moment? If not, what happens when you attempt to connect your iPod to it?
