not sure what you mean by sign in as i can get into send an email and I appear to be signed in

Sorry, is there any error or message? Let's try this: can you go to Apps -> Settings -> Account, then tap on your btinternet email account (or a suboption first, then your email account), then remove account, then add account, and check. If needed, yes, please call BT to reset / change your BT email password ***** website http://www.bt.com, then try again. Please let me know. Thank you.
