I have a Samsung S5. Last week facebook stopped working. My daughter uninstalled facebook and then tried to install it again. Unsuccessfully. We were asked for a password, but after trying three different passwords we gave up. A few days later I tried again and was asked for my e-mail address, which I gave, in order for a code to be sent. This was attempted at least twice with no success.
I tried another of the options offered, i.e. change your e-mail address. This I did to my more usual e-mail address, used on my laptop. I was supposed to receive a code which never arrived, or if it did, I was unable to access it.
I then tried the final option offered, to use my mobile phone number. I was told 'this number is ***** to someone else'.
I would very much like to be able to access facebook on my phone using the e-mail ; ***@******.*** and would appreciate your help.

Do you have your Gmail inbox open? I had a password ***** code sent to this address:***@******.*** minutes ago. If you don't see it in the inbox, from the list of items on the left, at the very bottom, click MoreYou will then see your Spam folder listed. Look in there also

I have been unable to access this code. When I follow the instructions Just Answer disappears and I get a BT page saying the site cannot be found. Pressing the large arrow at the top left hand corner does nothing.
