I cannot find a manual to give me guidance on this . Could you state step by step how I resolve this issue.

I am told the guidance is in the Manual for this product but I cannot trace one.

Thank you for writing back with that information.This error code that you are getting is indicating a paper jam. That is, there could be paper in the paper tray that was jammed, or some paper that are torn to pieces and it is jamming dome gears in the tray. This can also be some pieces of paper jamming the metal slider where the print head is moving.Please do these steps to fix this problem:Turn OFF the printerPlease check and ensure that there are no pieces of paper that was jammed. Please refer to this link for the illustration as to how paper jam is happening and where the paper jam happens:https://files.support.epson.com/htmldocs/nx215_/nx215_ug/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm?context=Epson&file=problems.16.4.htmlAfter making sure that there are no more paper jam, please turn ON the printer again and test if the error clears this time.I hope that helped. Hi John,Thank you for the rating and I hope you were able to clear the error after following the steps I gave you.If the error persists, there are 2 things that you can do.First, since this is still a 2-month old device, it is still covered by warranty. Thus, it is recommended to bring the unit to the vendor for warranty covered repair.Second, if you do not want to bring the unit to the vendor, your second option is to clear the error by re-seating the print head holder.
