Which is the operating system installed in the PC.Is it Windows Vista, Windows 7, windows 8, Windows 10 ?
Which email application are you using is it Microsoft Outlook, windows live mail?

I believe you are not clear what i meant by email application.email application is what you use to send and receive emails instead of using web browser (IE,Chrome)
Do you know which one you are using or are you using web browser to send and receive emails ?
