My emails I send to my colleagues on my company domain keep

Customer Question

My emails I send to my colleagues on my company domain keep bouncing back because they are seen as spam. If I send a one-word email the bounce back version has pages of letters and numbers attached which I did not add.
My provider 123-reg says
they would recommend adding a SPF record to your domain alanharpercomposites.com with the value: v=spf1 mx a ip4:94.136.40.163 a:mailex.mailcore.me -all.
Naturally I do not know how to do this and as my other users don't have a problem

No problem, if you have no Windows available (in case your Mac is dual boot, that would help, since the problem would be easier to fix there), it´s the same procedure, just instead of the EXE link, use:

Thanks a lot. However, to all these emails, there seems to be a strange file attachment called "blob", let me decode it and see what that is. That might be causing the SPAM filter to tag your emails as SPAM.

I´ve just decoded it, it´s just your company logo. (I´ve attached it). That should not be the problem. Let me investigate further.

Do you notice? The second test email did NOT bounce when I removed your signature.

At least, not YET. So it might simply be your signature picture that is causing the SPAM filter to trigger. Now I need to find out why that is, give me a few minutes and I will see what is wrong with the picture.

So all these problems just actually ONLY apply to your internal email accounts. If you mail to the outside or the outside to you, it´s all fine, right?

I think it´s not needed, I´ve found the cause. The SPAM-Filter in the control panel was set to EXTREMELY strong. I´ve lowered the level to value to 50% now instead of close to 100%!

Still no bounce yet, everything should be good again now. Just still strange why, even at such a high setting, it would let in my external email, but tag your internal email as SPAM. This makes no sense at all in any case and you can go and blame 1-2-3-Reg for that. Their own mail-server is tagging email as SPAM which comes from their own mail-server internally, while not tagging my external email as SPAM, which would be a lot more like to be SPAM compared to your internal email, which just included the word "test".

Of course, lowering the SPAM-filters trigger level, will also let in more real external SPAM. So what you could do today if you have some time, is to slightly raise both SPAM-faders in the control panel towards "strong" and save it. Then send an email from your account to your wife´s account again and see if it gets through. If so, raise the faders towards "Strong" one step more again. Then try again. Repeat that, until your emails to your wife are tagged as SPAM again, then go back one level and you will have the ideal value for filtering the most external SPAM, but not your internal emails anymore.
