Im considering registering as a Ltd co then as it will obviously

Customer Question

I'm considering registering as a Ltd co then as it will obviously reduce my liabilities.
Would it be lawful to;
change to a ltd co
close the business
then open the next day as another company to avoid the liabilities?
I know it seems immoral but I am so stuck

Thank you. This is all very helpful.

Is there a minimum time period that a ltd co has to trade for before it can close and the director walks away from liability?

No there isn't as long as it has been set up properly
