in an employment tribunal if the Claimant calls a hostile witness

Customer Question

in an employment tribunal if the Claimant calls a hostile witness as one of their witnesses is the hostile witness allowed not answer questions in court?
Can the judge intervene to order them to answer?
If the answer is not satisfactorily i.e. they answer just yes or no to an open question
can the Claimant request to expand the point?
If the hostile witness does not appear in court can they be in breach and fine them or order them to come?
