Hello, my name is Ben and it is my pleasure to be able to assist with your question today. Things have changed since 2008 - back then employers had to use the Statutory Disciplinary Procedures, however these were repealed in 2009. If you wish to update your policy now the you'll need to ensure that it complies with the ACAS Code of Conduct, a copy of which you can find here:
