my contract states that I am to be paid monthly on the 15th

Resolved Question:

my contract states that I am to be paid monthly on the 15th of each month however it is almost always at least two days late or if like this month the 15th is on a weekend I have to wait until about the Tuesday or later is my employer allowed to hold back my wages like this?
