I have recently been made redundant after 30 years. My job

Resolved Question:

I have recently been made redundant after 30 years.
My job is in sales.
I have signed an agreement not to compete against my old company who sells cleaning chemicals.
My new company sells paper disposables .
I have been to my old customers but not to sell them cleaning chemicals, but paper disposables so not competing,
They have however sent me a solicitors letter threatening court action because I have been in breach
Is there a chance they can put me in court even though the items I sell don't compete against them.
Thanks
