Customer Question

I have been getting episodes of very high heat radiating from the lower/mid back area. It started about 8 months ago and lately has been getting worse, waking me frequently at night when it happens and also occurring during the day. The area gets so hot it feels like I'm sitting on a heated seat and the sensation radiates through my abdomen and down my legs and sometimes up my body as well.

No medical problems except current and feeling v tired with current as waking up in night so often and feeling feverish

Herniated disc in spine many years ago in 1995 L4/5 but has got better except currently pain in sacro-iliac area on and off, fractured C3/4 in skiing accident in 2009

Have had pelvic ultrasound today to check ovaries and uterus - all ok but sonographer thought maybe my doctor should be requesting that I have bowel and liver checked.

No medications - hardly ever take any medications, hardly drink alcohol

Awaiting blood test results

OK
This can be estrogen dominance, an estrogen panel is warrantged.
It can be thyroid disease, TSH and T4 are needed.

The spine might be contributing as you do have disc disease.
If nothing else is found an MRI of the spine should be done.

An adrenal tumor can rarely cause such symptoms, and serum metanephrines is the test for this. Usually blood pressure would be up and there woulud be other symptoms.

OK. If you have further questions or details, use reply to expert.

Otherwise please choose a positive rating . But, still come back if you need to…think of something later, etc. Bonuses are appreciated.
