my dads sister had a house and it was in the family since 1958 when she died it was left to dad who gave it to me. in 2001 after putting my name on the deeds he said if anything happened to me were would my ex live so we put her name on deeds. in 2007 she was taken ill and i packed up work to be a carer in 2010 dad died and 3 weeks later she left. Now next thursday she is taking me to court as she wants half of the house plus rent i offered 10000 but rejected what do yoiu think i should do do i agree to give her half or can i get round it as she put nothing into it and if i have to sell were do i go and at 54 no one will give me a mortgage plus i only work part time

mortgage free given to me by dad save me paying a mortgage after his sisters death then we put her name on deeds incase anything happened to me i was not married have no kids house price in area 61000

she walked out so never talked yes but have a solicitor not much confidence in him but just the thought of being my families home since 1950s and she can just come along and clean me out with out putting a penny in and without doing anything plus were do i live and were do i get the money to start again as wont be able to get a mortgage as i be 79 by the time i would be finished

no it was grandma and grandads house then handed to their two daughters then to dad then me but we put her name on the deeds incase i died so she would have somewhere to live
