I am going into a divorce with my wife, I have asked for half our equity in the house so I can move on, she has refused on the grounds she has a daughter under 18, the daughter isn't mine, she was from her previous marriage.

Equity is 70k
Debts only in wife's name if any, and we have been married 3 years only., my wife's daughter is 15.
And is supported via payments from her farther monthly.

5 years together.
Joint capital to buy house.
I paid less of deposit but I paid stamp duty and solicitors also moving costs.
So I would guess at equal..
