When I take my Partner,s surname do I become a British citizen? He is British and I am from Bulgaria and I have lived and worked in England for 5 and a half years.

Thank you for your question, I will do my best to assist you.
Simply taking your partner's surname - or even marrying him - will not make you a British Citizen.
However since you have lived in the UK legally for five years you are entitled to apply for citizenship.
