Hi
Thank you for your question.
My name is Clare and I will do my best to help you but I need some further information first.
What was the financial arrangement made at the time of the divorce?
Clare
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

the arrangement was that I would have the house in return for giving up any rights to his pension. This was done by a solicitor.

Hi
Was this put in a Court Order and sealed by the court?

I did not go to court but I have it in writing and I also have the paperwork taking his name off the mortgage.

Hi
Are you certain that his name is still on the deeds?
Clare

Am not sure. I was panicked a little when it was suggested that he could have a claim by ,in hindsight ,someone who did not know all the details. I took it for granted that with his name off the mortgage the house would be mine.

I have not had any information that will help me.
I still need to know if my ex has any claim on the house on my death.
