I have had her every other weekend since we split up around 6 months after her birth. Everyone is telling me that the best I could hope for is for shared custody on a similar basis (every other weekend) but with my ex being made to meet me half-way due to the distance. I have very little money to take this through the courts and just want to establish the realistic position before wasting time, money and emotions on a court battle :-(
She has intimated that she will travel to my City once a month so that I can see my daughter (her parents live up here, so that is convenient for her as she will be visiting anyway) and that the remaining weekend I can pick her up and drop her off one weekend a month. The latter is clearly unworkable due to distance, time and the fact that I do not have enough disposable income to cover the cost of fuel / train fare
Yes, based on me having access every other weekend
No, not assessed by the CSA - just following their calculation.
Seems like a pretty impossible going forward. Is there no way of seeking an injunction to stop this?
