My name is Clare and I will do my best to help you
The answer is in fact "maybe".
The CSA have no claim on capital as such - selling land is not seen as "income"
However if there are arrears then the capital may be at risk - and if the sale proceeds means that you have assets worth more than £65,000 - other than your home - then the CSA will assume a notional income from those assets of 8% per annum and will assess that income accordingly
