WE HAVE NOW SEPARATED DO WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS?

You only need to go through divorce proceedings if either you or your wife want to remarry, or you want the court to decide how to divide the matrimonial assets between you if you can't agree.
