Good evening I am contacting you on behalf of my partner

Customer Question

Good evening

I am contacting you on behalf of my partner regarding his CSA claim for another child, we have found out from the Gov.uk site that the basic rate is £38 per week, he earns £353.21 before tax and CSA are demanding £96 per week where he use to pay £66 which covered the basic plus arrears. We have a child at home with us and we depend on my partners income to pay the bills and support us on just his wage as I am currently not working as we lost our newborn recently. What advice can you give as we are unsure on what to do next?

Thank you.

How long have the arrears been outstanding?
Clare

The arrears started in 2012 and he was advised that they were finished by February 2014 in the process of being taken on full time he missed 4 payments and they are now trying to penalise him, we was advised that the payment would go down in February but they have come up with this figure of £96
