Hi
Thank you for your question.
My name is Clare
I will do my best to help you but I need some further information first.
I am afraid that grandparent shave no automatic right to contact - indeed they do not even have an automatic right to apply to the courts for a contact order.
Since the child is too young for there to be an existing relationship between you I am afraid that the only way forward is negotiation with your daughter - using Family Mediation (www.familymediationhelpline.co.uk) if necessary
I am so sorry to give you bad news - but there is no point in me giving you unrealistic information
