Hi
Thank you for your question.
My name is Clare
I will do my best to help you but I need some further information first.
How many hours a week will he spend in college?
Do you pay via a court order or the CSA?
Clare
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

8 hours a week when he starts

no court order just a mutual agreement that i would pay until i am entitled to

Hi
Do you have any way of finding out if your ex is still going to get Child Benefit for him?
Clare
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
No is she still entitled to it then
Expert:  Clare replied 3 years ago.
Hi
If your son will only be in college for 8 hours a week then you will no longer have to pay child maintenance as he is no longer in "full time education"
Your ex can only apply to the CMS (new CSA) if she continues to receive Child benefit after September and from what you say she will not - more details here
