Hi, I am a divorced dad with regular access to see my 2 daughters

Customer Question

Hi, I am a divorced dad with regular access to see my 2 daughters aged 16 and 12. They were/are being left overnight alone overnight by their mum a couple of nights this week. They both complained to me that they were unhappy at being left alone scared and upset that there mum was leaving them alone. i talked to their mum about how i can help. Last night their mum agreed i could have them but this has changed this morning as they have a dog that needs to be looked after too. I cant take the dog as i live in a rented accommodation that doest allow dogs. Do i have any rights to make sure my children are cared for properly and intervene?
