hi, my father passed just before Christmas aged 64. he has left no will. do I have a entitlement for his state pension contributions he made? can you please advise.

Hello and thanks for your question.

No sorry - you will not have any entitlement to his state pension conributions.

As he died without a will, his estate will pass to others according to the intestacy rules. If he left less than £250,000, then his widow will get all. If more than £250,000, his widow gets the first £250,000, plus half the amount over £250,000. The rest is divided equally amongst his children (if he had left no children, then to other relatives - but that isn't going to apply in your case).
