Resolved Question:

my wife has left the matrimonial home after i discovered she was having an affair. she has come today to gather more belongings and the door chain was on. She was annoyed at this as she believes she has the right to enter the matrimonial home whenever she wishes. Is that correct?

Thank you question.
No, she is entitled to access to the home and it is correct that she can come and go as she wishes. You can't change the locks.
I hope this helps. Please leave a positive response so that I am credited time.
