If a woman leaves her husband man, clears the joint

Resolved Question:

If a woman leaves her husband for another man, clears the joint bank account out, leaves the country. Then returns to uk when all the money has gone, has a baby by the other man, then breaks up with the other manand now she's wants to claim child support for the child of the husband, the husband has always looked after the family but has no record of this.
Where does he start, why does the wife think she can now start asking for child support of being separated for nearly 7 years.
Kind regards

Thank you for your question.
Can I clarify please, is the child the child of the husband or the other man?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Sorry very complicated ! Husband is the child father whom the estranged wife of 6 years wants to now claim child support.
Expert:  JGM replied 2 years ago.
If the husband is the natural father of the child he has a legal duty to pay child maintenance for the child irrespective of the circumstances of the separation.

Can I just ask will her claim be back dated and do you know have the sum is worked out ?
Regards
Expert:  JGM replied 2 years ago.
The claim can be backdated but not for a period she has been out of the country with the child, as the CSA doesn't then have jurisdiction.
The amount you can get on the CSA calculator online at www.gov.uk/calculate-your-child-maintenance
