I have recently split from my wife. She has agreed to buy me

Customer Question

I have recently split from my wife. She has agreed to buy me out of the property. I have signed an agreement where it states she will give me an amount of money. I moved out on Saturday 14th Feb and she moved back in the following day. This morning she had the locks changed but as yet I have recieved no money from her although I am told it is on it's way. Is she legally allowed to do this and do I still have a right to enter the property?

Hi
In that case your first step is to call the Solicitors and ask that the TR1 is held to your Order until the monies are received by you
You should also inform your wife that you are in fact entitled to return to the property whenever you wish - breaking in if necessary as there can be no transfer of title until the payment has been made
I hope that this is of assistance - please ask if you need further details
