Resolved Question:

if a partner in a partnership dies does his partnership interest pass to his wife?

Thank you for your question.
His financial interest in the partnership, usually called his capital account, passes to his estate. That may include his wife, children and others depending on whether there is a will and what the will says.
Happy to discuss further.
I hope this helps. Please leave a positive response so that I am credited for my time.
