Hi
Excellent - you are indeed exercising your treaty rights
You are entitled to claim child Benefits and Child and Tax Credits.
You may also be entitled to Housing Benefit.
You can check your entitlements on this website

Your husband will have to pay Child Maintenance at the rate of 16% of his gross income at most.
I hope that this is of assistance - please ask if you need further details

Expert:  Clare replied 2 years ago.
Hi
My apologies for the delay
You can certainly ask for help despite being married - you are likely to be entitled to Housing benefit to pay your rent.
You may also be entitled to assistance with the deposit by way of the Bond scheme.
You are not likely to be entitled to actual Social Housing
