My soon to be ex wife and I are currently trying to get divorced. we

Resolved Question:

My soon to be ex wife and I are currently trying to get divorced.
we have been living apart since February 28th 2013
initially the divorce grounds were my unreasonable behaviour but as the action was never filed we have agreed on the grounds of two years separation
I have been informed by her solicitor that I need to return my Acknowledgement of Service to the Court.
This is an amicable split and we have agreed on a financial settlement.
Could you please advise about the Acknowledgment of Service. I have looked on the MOJ website and the form does not seem relevant, as there is no contest.

I am afraid that you still need to complete the form - it is part of the formulaic approach to divorcing and completing it actually saves time.

What details do I need fill in. There are case numbers and other details that I have no knowledge of. Do I need to be served with divorce notice from the court first?

Expert:  Thomas Judge replied 1 year ago.
Strictly speaking yes - then it is all rather straight forward - the court will provide the case number

Hi. I am sorry for the interruption but my colleague did not realise that I was helping you in this matter. You have not received any of the papers yet in this matter, have you?
