If you did not know about the hearing and you should have then this will be a potential grounds for appeal - you need to explain to the court why (if you can) that you did not know about the hearing - but this will be as stated a potential ground - you should apply to the court using form N244. Its the amount i disagree with. She already has accommodation, this is my only home.

Well if you weren't at the court where the decision was made because you didn't know then the amount will be something in issue - sometimes when you appeal you can renegotiate the amount. Please rate positive
