I've recently separated from my daughters mother, my daughter

Resolved Question:

Hi, I've recently separated from my daughters mother, my daughter spends equal time between us, would I still be required to make maintenance payments?

Hi, thanks for your question.
If the time she spends with both of you is fully equal and you also deal with day to day arrangements for her (eg. taking her to school, picking her up), then there is a strong argument that you should not be liable for child maintenance.
Please let me know if you have any further questions regarding this.
