My son has a two year old son and the child has my sons name on his birth certificate. His partner has now wanting to change his surname to hers. Can she do this without my sons permission

Hi, thanks for your question. As your son's name is ***** ***** birth certificate he will have parental responsibility, therefore she will need his agreement to change the child's surname.
