Claire, after asking my ex to provide evidence of proof

Resolved Question:

hi claire, after asking my ex to provide evidence of proof of income and evidence of saturday employment he as now turned around and said he is happy to pay the cost of bringing our daughter down to see him. i reside in the west midlands and the contact is in leicester to be honest it would cost me around 50.00 anyway as i would have to sort child minder for saturday for my daughter as contact being moved on sunday plus conduct 2 journeys back and forth not to count my time and day wasted as that is the only relaxation day i have. what do you suggest i do. i am sure you would agree he seems desparate to move it to sunday but is being difficult but he is also controlling and stubborn so i just want to cover myself in court incase he just goes court to prove a point. pls advise

HiI am not sure whether what you are saying is that you do want the Saturday contact or whether Sunday would be better for you?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

saturday contact is ideal for me as i work around my daugters contact so dont pay for child care while she goes to see her dad. Movinmg to sunday is an issue for me as i would have to arrange childminder for saturday while i am at work so would be an additional cost plus extra travel on sunday and i would lose my relaxation day. BUt because my ex said he wanted it moving for work reason and i know courts like parties to be fair i thought if he is genuine pays maintenence then i should agree however he is not agreeing to appropriate maintenence and there is no registered employmeny with inland revenue and he is being very difficult so i would rather stick with the court order.

rather than texts going back and forth shall i just cut it short and state

Since there is no valid employment in place tcontact is to be maintaned on saturdays as per court order however if in future there is valid employment registered with inland revenue and proof of employment for saturdays then sabrina is prepared to move it to sundays.

NoSay insteadThe only basis on which Sabrina will be willing to make the sacrifice of giving up her family day is if you prove that you are in work - even if the only evidence is a regular maintenance payment
