Customer Question

I have had a handrail put up by my landlord. I say it's an old scaffolding pole as it's rusty and uneven and you can see where it's been used. I have waited in today as my landlord told me they will be sending out a supervisor to look at the problem but an engineer came out and just said that's what we put up. I phoned my landlord and told them how I felt very angry and upset. I have now spoken to the supervisor and he has said it's the right pole but he is coming out on Monday to see me. Where do let stand legally on this issue and what rights do I have.
