Child maintenance question I'm afraid. I had a written

Customer Question

Hi, child maintenance question I'm afraid. I had a written agreement with the mother of my children to.pay £400 a month maintenance. I have reviewed a letter today from the child. maintenence people asking me to pay nearly £700 a month based on earnings of £52k.per annum. I started my.own business in may this year and have not worked out myself yet what I earn per annum so I think the 52k is wishful thinking!!I decided I will just pay myself minimum wage and leave everything else in the company account but I keep coming across this "diversion of income" this sounds exactly like what I plan to do in my opinion!? so what can I do as I feel £400 was.more than enough!thanksmartin

Thank you for your question

My name is Clare

I shall do my best to help you but I need some further information first.

How much did you you earn gross last year?

Customer: replied 20 days ago.
Hi Clare,
I am so sorry, I remember writing a reply to this on my mobile, it may not have sent I guess, so please accept my apologies!
So, just incase you require this information. My salary at my last job was £45,000 per annum before tax.
I left this job in May 2016 and started my own limited Company called Ocular Innovations. At present is invoicing around £7000 per month, but I do have an additional employee aswell to pay with these funds
Please let me know if I have misunderstood, or you require additional information.
Thanks
Martin
