Customer Question

hazard lights dont work & now driver indicator wont work transit 2002

Expert:  sean replied 3 years ago.

Hello, I hope I can offer you some assistance.

Do you have the chassis number of the van? So I can obtain the correct wiring details.

If you don't want to give the chassis number what model is this? Does it have the small relay box on the passenger side inner wing below the washer bottle filler neck?

Let me know and I'll reply as soon as I'm able to.

Thank you.

Hello again,

below is the test procedure for the indicators, I've posted it this way as otherwise it becomes very confusing. Also when it mentions with trailer tow attachment this is the vans with the auxilary relay box I mentioned. It doesn't give the information as to if this is fitted to your van even with the chassis number.

The wiring colours are RD, red, BK, black, PK, pink, BU, blue, GN, green, YE, yellow.

The main indicator relay is located behind the dash it is where C2027 and A17 are shown in the diagram below.
