Fiesta 1.4 Tdci has had an intermittent starting problem for

Customer Question

NOTE:  THE CAR STARTED THE FOLLOWING MORNING SO TOOK IT TO MAIN DEALER.  FOR THE TIME BEING THIS QUESTION IS CANCELLED.

Fiesta 1.4 Tdci has had an intermittent starting problem for several weeks. It's always the same thing, the car will start then cut out within 10 seconds. Then won't start but will turn over. Initially a VAG mechanic said to use the other key which worked for a few days then the same problem. Main dealer diagnosed replacing fuel filter, leak off pipes and battery as 1 cell was weak. Initially asked Ford to replace leak off pipes and fuel filter - which appeared to have cured the problem initially. Then 3 days later the same problem returned so replaced battery and had a full service. The following day the same problem... so squeezed the priming bulb and the car started. Following day car didn't start even after priming - but later did. Today tried same process but no luck - whether this morning or this evening. The car was booked in a the main dealer for another diagnostic tomorrow but it won't start so can't even get it there. Please be advised that I will pay whats due providing the cure remains for a week. Thanks
