I have a 2004 Mondeo Estate Ghia Diesel 130 PS Six speed Manual.

Customer Question

I have a 2004 Mondeo Estate Ghia Diesel 130 PS Six speed Manual. On occasions particularly on a motorway the temperature gauge will rise very quickly stay at maximum for about 10 seconds then drop just as quickly. All the time the Heater is running very cold. Is this likely to be an air lock and are there any bleed valves, or what can be done please- thanks

Hi..

Hopefully i can help..

As a starting point at least - it would be worth considering getting the thermostat changed..it possible that it maybe faulty or stuck even hence the temperature rise and sudden fall/loss of heat within the car itself...so as above i would certainly start there first...I do hope this helps
