Hi there , good afternoon to you
If you have the full code that would be more informative as it makes disgnosing these issues a bit easier I assume done one has done a fault cide check on the parking aid module and the indicator is flashing when reverse is selected
Kind regards ***** *****
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

The full DTC from diagnostic done on the dashboard is DTC#01F00616

Get a constant tone when engaging reverse the flashing PDC light.

System work intermittenly at present. One time it works then 5 mins later it wont work.

Regards

Hello in point 3 above I meant to say

There is one sensor front nearside, which is under the windscreen washer reservoir which I can not reach and have been unable to inspect or change.

Hi there thanks
Ok this dash diagnostic isno good for the parking aid fault as the correct fault code cannot be pulled by this function on the dash
Ok the s-max /Galaxy suffered from a very common issue with the parking aid intermitently inoperative /working is corrosion into the rear parking aid wiring loom
In my experience the fault will lie with this loom
We change these all the time for parking aid faults on S-Max/Galaxy
The loom is around £25 from ford
Ideally you should retreive the correct fault code but in each case we see it's the rear wiring as its rate for sensors to be the isdue especially if it's intermitent
I can give you the part number and exact price if this loom if you wish
If you need anymore help or advice on this issue please let me know
If you are Completely satisfied with my answer /advice

Kind regards ***** ***** and have a nice day
