Hi there good afternoon to you
Ok just to confirm the exact issue you have here
Is it a hesitation when pulling away in first or a starting concern
Regards Brian
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Starts Ok will pull with foot off accelerator on flat ground but will then stall if you touch accelerator, does not do it all of the time. All stting have been reset by garage.

Only on initial pull away and when power does come through its at full revs.

Hi thanks sorry for all the questions
As you will understand these issues are not easily fixed online let aline in a garage
Ok what is the mileage of the vehicle and is it serviced in accordance to the service intervals and are the correct parts fitted at said intervals
Does this only happen after 1st start up (cold )
Ie it doesn't happen when been driving then pull away
Has a fault code check been carried out if so we're any codes logged
Regards Brian
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Milage 60,000 total service history at correct intervals with Ford parts fitted.

Usually when cold but occasionally when warm, seems worse after motorway drive the day before, showed itself first after drive to York 300 miles each way just after last service.

Garage has apparently reset computer but don't know if codes were logged.

Hi thanks
Ok due to the excessively intermitent nature of the fault I would be starting with a pcm software update as this updates certain parameters that can cause drivability issues ie mapping of pul away
We always carry out a pcm updates firstly as a process of elimination due to the intermitent nature of the fault then monitor the issue to see if it arises again
There is no known concerns in the kuga TDCI Varient in regards ***** ***** symptoms
The software update should be carried out firstly as this type if symptom is more likely to be a software issue is poor pull away mapping
As you aren't experiencing any lack of power under normal driving or warming lights
If you need anymore help or advice on this issue please let me know
If you are Completely satisfied with my answer /advice

Kind regards ***** ***** and have a nice day
We can continue on this same post even after rating
