Hi there good afternoon to you
Ok is it the rocker cover you are removing (with the 3 bolts on top)
Why is the cover being removed
Is this a 1.8tdci

No , just the plastic cover marked duratorq tdci, to gain access to check and maybe change the injector return hoses, to try to cure a bad starting problems whene she has not run for a week or two. Also, she sometimes just stops for no reason when driving along the road, so am also changing fuel filter.

Hi there thanks
I have just checked a 53 plate 1.8tdci engine corner and there should t be any sensors attached to it it is only secured by 2 nuts at the rear and then pull upward some have a rubber pop bush at the front the over just pulls upward
Is it possible for you post a photo to show me

hi there, been trying to send photo, but not clever enough! It is a 52 plate

car, and the unit that is fixed into the underside of the plastic cover is attached by what looks like two covered linked cables or tubes, attached to a plastic sleeve which appears to be screwed into the manifold by the injectors. These cables are short, so restrict the movement of the cover, into which is fixed this white sender or whatever unit that i cannot remove.

Car reg. is HD52 CWF,
