Car radio not working because disconnected battery and code

Resolved Question:

Car radio not working because disconnected battery and code has now been misplaced, how do I sort this my radio details are 6000CD RDS E-O-N CD CHANGER COMPATIBLE, sorry only information I have and can provide this is fitted into a Mondeo 2Ltr Gia year 2000 Thanks

Ok in order to generate your radio code I will need the serial number of the audio unit
This will look like this ie: M0453884
This is located on a sticker on the side of the unit
Some units can self read the serial number by pressing 2&6 but i suspect your unit will be to old
If you can get the serial number I will generate your code immediately

Ok will have to retrieve serial number by means of taking unit from its current position but not sure what tools to use, please can you advise?

Ok you will need a standard set of radio pins to remove the unit
