Customer Question

Ford Focus C-Max 1.6 Diesel 2005 84k
Prob. description: Engine recently begun to default to 'limp' mode while accelerating when cold through the gears. Condition occurs approx. 3,000 rpm
If the MAF sensor socket is disconnected and replaced, or the air-flow hose from the rocker case breather is disconnected and replaced, the engine is restored to normal operation.
Replaced MAF sensor. Condition persists unchanged.
Vehicle is otherwise in gwc! Can you help diagnose the problem, please?
