Resolved Question:

hi
I need to change the carpet in my ford b max (thanks to a paint spill)
I've purchased the carpet and want to fit it myself. just wondered what problems I would have.... do I need to disconnect the battery? will I upset any wires that under the seats when I take them out? will I upset any wires to do with the airbags?

Hi there. Good evening to you and sorry for the delayed response
Ok in order to remove the floor carpet follow these instructions
1, remove both front seats 4x50 torx bolts (there is air bag multiplugs under each seat ) dissconnect these 7 mm screw bolt on each (the light will go out once these are reconnected etc
2 , remove or lift the the rear seat base as removing it is quite a strip down
3 ,remove centre floor console
4 ,remove carpet
You don't need to dissconnect the battery etc for this job
I can give you some images if you require them to assist you if you are stuck at any parts
