I have a 2011 ford focus 2.0 diesel titanium. the problem is:- twice now in 6 months the car has had a drained battery (new battery has been fitted) so it appears that something else is causing the battery to drain. Can you help?

Hi there Gary thanks and sorry for the delayed response
Ok the most common cause of an intermitent battery drain on the mk3 focus is a software Glich with the FCDIM (front control display interface module ) and ACM (Audio Control Module )
This software Glich can from time to time cause the battery to drain
The first thing that must be done is to have the software updated in both the FCDIM and ACM to the latest level using fords ids software
