Hi there good evening To you and sorry for the delayed response
My name is ***** ***** I would be happy to assist/ offer you advice you to tonightOk the fusion instrument clusters changed on the face lift models in around 2008-2009
the cluster on the fusion cannot simply be swapped over
This is because the cluster is part of the Immobilsor system
So it must be paired with the PCM using compatible diagnostic equipmentA new cluster will set you back around £400 )would need to clarify exact price )
Where as you will pick a second hand one up fir £50 possibly cheaper
(The cluster needs to be of a similar part number (sticker on rear of cluster )
Also fiesta cluster of same age as these use same platformIf you need anymore help or advice on this issue please let me know
If you are Completely satisfied with my answer /advice
PLEASE REMEMBER TO RATE MY ANSWER
Kind regards ***** ***** and have a evening
Any postive feedback /bonuses are kindly appreciatedBrian

Brian thanks
butA I don't understand immobiliser bit-- does this need a new key or just reprogramming existing key
B what do you mean cluster needs to be similar part number--similar to what
C so what exactly do I ask breakers for so I get everything needed
D re the fitting and compatibility who does that and how much
E is it possible to fit stronger bulb to existing cluster so fuel gauge can be read even on sunny day
F when did headlights change ,are they simply interchangeable for existing "cloudy" ones
G do you do this work
H if yes where are you
I if not can anyone do the cluster work or is it a Ford dealer only special
Thanks William

Hi there William good afternoon to you

A - Ok the cluster is part of the Immobilsor system this is the anti theft system which allows you to start the car

You don't programme the keys to the cluster you need to pair the cluster with the PCM

B - the cluster should be from the same model /year if possible

C - ask the breakers for a 2005 fusion or fiesta instrument cluster

D- fitting and coding costs around 1 hours labour

E - no you cannot got Steiner bulbs for the fuel gauge

F- the face lift fusion was around 2008 and yes you can interchange lights

G- I do carry this work but only in my ford dealership

H- Iam based in very north of the U.K. but any ford dealer can carry this out for you

If you need anymore help or advice on this issue please let me know and I will do my upmost to assist you
