Hi Brian yes I do, delighted with the van but have issues (as described with connecting my phone via Bluetooth) I’m assuming the van allows this facility? Your help would be most welcome

Hi there good evening to you

Ok in most cases the issue is a software lock up if the Bluetooth module

What I always try first is to dissconnect the battery terminal

And leave off for 5 minutes

(This allows the internal Ram of the Bluetooth module to power down )

Reconnect the battery and leave the ignition and audio on for s few minutes to allow the Bluetooth module to

Then try and repair the phone to the system

9/10 times this resolves this issue

If you need further help or technical assistance on this issue going forward

please let me know and I will do my upmost to assist you

Hi Brian, disconnected the battery, left for five minutes, switched on tried again and exactly the same thing happens, do you have any other ideas?
Hi there good afternoon to youOk if the fault is still present after battery disconnection then it's commonly the Nokia Bluetooth module that has failed internally
(The wiring should be checked prior to this being condemned but it's rarely a wiring issue )These weren't the most robust modules and were used in a lot of the earlier Bluetooth systems
In which we replaced the modules for this concernIf you have your registration number I can double check the setup and give you further directionsKindest regards ***** *****

Hi Brian, thanks for your continued support, the ref is EF57 KWU. Am I right in assuming the van does have a Bluetooth facility? The satellite on the steering wheel does not have a voice button but the manual says you can use the mode button for calls? (Apologies if I’m steering on to a second question) many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi there no worries

Ok looking at the minor features of your vehicle it states the vehicle has less voice activated mondules

Which commonly means it isn't fitted

I have attached an image so you can pyshically check fir the Bluetooth module

Hi Brian, many thanks for your advice, what do you advise to get activation and/or phone functionality going forward?

Hi there good evening to you

On older vehicles the best kit we used to fit was a parrot hands free kit (model -parrot mki9200)

This is the better of the parrot kits and it comes with coloured LCD screen /steering wheel remote leads which allow USB/jack lead media to be connected to work through the current audio system
