Bonjour, We have five children by our previous marriages. Under our English wills, the surviving spouse inherits in total and on his/her subsequent death, the estate is to be divided 5 ways equally. Four shares to four of our children and one share to the offspring of the fifth child. I suspect that this cannot be done under French Law, am I correct ? Also if the surviving partner wished to sell and move, he/she could have insufficient funds to purchase another property law because of current How could this be overcome.
